Who We Are.

We met working for the Digital Main Street Future Proof Program hosted by Invest Ottawa in September 2020 as a copywriter and UX/UI designer. This government-funded program was designed to help small businesses across Eastern Ontario digitally transform their businesses online as a response to Covid-19. This is where we discovered how many businesses truly needed support for their online presence. 

Working with a team, we helped small businesses in various industries successfully navigate social media and transform their platforms to connect with their audience and customers. As the contract ended in June 2021, we went our separate ways continuing to build our skillsets independently while still working together on freelance projects outside of our 9-5. 

After collaborating on numerous projects, we realized how complementary our creative processes are. We balance each other’s strengths and weaknesses to form a team that brings ideas to fruition in a seamless and harmonious way. We see the opportunity for us to not only grow together as business partners but bring value to business owners through our combined expertise. 

Our name, Across the Board Branding, emphasizes how branding isn’t just limited to logos and colour codes, branding encompasses your selling points through personality, voice, and a unique image that connects with your audience. We want to align your online presence beginning with who you are and how you want to stand out, and from there we focus on copy and design for your website, social media, email marketing, and more - enhancing your online presence, across the board

  • While pursuing my Bachelor of Economics degree at Queen’s University, I decided to expand my knowledge further and work towards a Certificate in Business through the Smith School of Business. It is during my certificate that I gained foundational knowledge and began my journey into the marketing world. Since graduating in 2020, I have continuously worked closely with many small businesses in various industries to improve their online presence. Through my expertise in social media content creation and management, website design, and email marketing, I have developed a strong passion for helping entrepreneurs bring their ideas from brainstorming and notes to the final design.

Creative & Copy Director.

  • After graduating from Queen’s University with an English Language & Literature degree in 2019, I have dedicated my time to honing my skills and beginning a career in the copywriting industry - learning about digital marketing, advertising, blog writing, email marketing, editing and publishing. In 2020, I started putting my literature degree towards a more personal passion by writing book reviews online. In the past 4 years, I have established myself as a copywriter, gaining experience writing SEO-oriented copy for various small businesses. I enjoy writing for people who have wonderful ideas and need my assistance putting them into the right words.
